Practicing my skills with the Panasonic Lumix G80 camera in back and front gardens. I wanted to capture people in these latest set of Photos, so very l kindly, asked if mum & dad would be willing participants. The weather is good for this time of year and adds real depth to the Photos.
I would say my skills are really improving and I am getting more confident with the camera and taking Photos of people. Most of my previous work is people free. I still say there is an argument for Photos with out people in it depending on the composition of the Photos you are trying to create.
Apart from camera based settings I don't post edit my Photos on the computer. I feel this gives a good vanilla / virgin feel to them.
Mum and dad make great subjects for the Photos and I am pleased with how they have come out. My parents back garden, in particular, provides a good back drop for the Photos. Dad has spent nearly 4-5 years getting the garden to its current state and its lovely. Real good nature feel to it.
